Laminate flooring |
A laminate floor is a layered floor, built around a watertight, high density fibre (HDF) board, making it resistant to stains, wear, impact, scratches, burns and household chemicals.
Laminate flooring can be offered in a wide range of designs and is generally more affordable than solid wood flooring. It is durable and easy to keep clean and a great choice for busy households and allergy sufferers.
Bevelled edges, a more varied set of images and embossed features, such as knots, will give a more natural look and texture, but they will cost more.
Laminate flooring is ideal for high traffic areas that will need frequent cleaning, such as living rooms, studies and playrooms.

Solid wood flooring |
Solid wood floors look beautiful and add the wow factor to any home. They are also a great option for allergy sufferers, as they are so easy to keep clean.
Made of 100% solid wood, when cared for properly they last a life time. Solid wood flooring can also be sanded and re-varnished to suit any taste (Solid wood flooring can be sanded back to restore the finish – the number of times you can do this is determined by how deep the tongue is set from the top of the board.).
We can offer a wide variety of solid wood species, in a variation of widths, thicknesses and finishes.
Solid wood options are suitable for most areas with a relatively consistent humidity. Particularly in hallways and living areas where you can show it off.

Engineered wood flooring |
Engineered wood floors offer the same benefits and aesthetics as solid wood floors, but are much more forgiving in areas with changeable humidity and temperatures.
The increased stability is achieved by a layered construction, consisting of a top layer of solid wood, that is visible when the flooring is installed, and a Plywood, Hardwood or Spruce backing, fitted at a 90 degree angle to the layer above.
As with solid wood floors, we can offer a wide variety of wood species in a variation of widths, thicknesses and finishes.
Ideal for for living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, kitchens. While it's more resistant to warping than solid wood, it's still best avoided in places that it will be exposed to a lot of humidity, such as a bathroom.

- Engineered wood flooring is more stable than solid wood; less prone to changes temperature or humidity
- Cheaper than comparable solid-wood planks
- Can be more attractive than laminate, although it is more expensive

Wood floor restoration |
If your existing wood floor needs a new lease of life, we can restore it back to its original glory. We have the industry’s best sanding machinery to ensure we provide the highest level of results.
We can restore any existing solid wood floor, from original floor boards to parquet wood floors. We will carry out repair and maintenance work where required, including replacing damaged boards, filling dents, and repairing squeaks. We will then treat and seal the wood using the best quality lacquers, to ensure they are protected and continue to look great.
Wooden flooring in commercial areas such as sports halls, village halls, gyms, offices, bars and restaurants are exposed to excessive wear and tear. In areas such as these, we finish the floor with top quality commercial grade lacquers, that can withstand heavy usage, to ensure the floor is adequately protected.
